The Bronx County Trust Co., Washington Bridge office opened on Sept. 15, 1927. Shown is the intersection of Ogden, Boscobel and University Aves, at the eastern end of the Washington Bridge. Also shown is sculptor Max Hausle’s Washington Bridge World War Memorial featuring a statue of a doughboy (now moved to 165th St. & Ogden Ave.).
