Wine Arrives At The Bronx Terminal Market

Twenty-five tank cars, each holding 8,000 gallons of wine from Chateau Martin, California, arrive at the Bronx Terminal Market. The shipment is thought to be the largest trainload of wine ever shipped in the country. The building on the left is the Bronx County Jail at 653 River Ave. & E. 151st St. (Later renamed the Bronx House of Detention, this building was closed in 2003 since it had too few inmates.)
